Accounting
Accounting Associate
We are looking for an accounting associate to take on client bookkeeping, payroll, monthly reconciliations, and filings. Within this position, you will see the complete accounting cycle and get hands on experience with a large number of industries. During tax season, there will likely be a request for an increase in hours due to an influx in tax services with full-time opportunities available.
Applicant will be expected to have strong professional written skills along with having high attention to detail. Experience with Microsoft Excel and overall expertise with technology is a requirement. This career step has opportunities that progress into experience with Data Analytics and more complex accounting roles.
Leah Lewis CPA, a former KPMG Manager will be your lead within this opportunity. Leah currently works on contracts with some of the world’s largest accounting firms performing auditing procedures. She also works on local clients performing bookkeeping, payroll, and other tasks.
Minimum Requirements:
- Pursuing or completion of Bachelors Degree in Accounting
- Reliable transportation for weekly meeting
- Reliable internet connection
Hourly compensation expected between $15 – $20
Employment opportunities on graduation, compensation expected between $35,000 – $55,000 salary.
Rates are based on hours committed, experience and education, and experience with technology.

Marketing
Marketing Assistant
We are looking for a marketing assistant to take on creative reconfiguration of our 9 current website properties. We will also be looking for campaign management for paid social, display, and direct marketing. This role will heavily utilize technology and will provide hands on experience with a wide variety of marketing experience that is not taught in traditional marketing classes.
Applicant will be expected to have strong professional written skills along with a love for creative expression. Experience with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop along with overall expertise in technology is a requirement. This career step has opportunities that progress into experience with Data Analytics and more complex marketing strategy. In this position, you will be exposed to a large amount of people. Being comfortable in crowds and learning how to network will significantly help you.
Nathan Gauger will be your lead within this opportunity. Nathan currently works on business development for Blue Heron CPAs and is working on building out data analytic products. He previously worked for the 13th fastest growing technology start-up in the nation and has a fast growth mentality.

Hourly compensation expected between $12 – $17
Commission opportunities will be available along with performance based incentives.
